"Nathalie has a unique approach to her work: she respected the character of the old house and preserved its best elements and details, while using contemporary and ecological materials to modernise it. Throughout the process she extensively discussed our needs and came with a range of proposals to meet them. We bought a property with a lot of potential, leaking roof, easily exposed to changes in temperatures and unchanged for decades – beautiful, but in need of profound renovation. Nathalie delivered exactly that: she managed to bring the house to present times with features such as all-around insulation, floor heating and outdoor solar blinds, which transformed the quality of living there. The whole ground floor was redesigned with big open kitchen and modern back-side sliding door to bring in the light and view of the garden to the part of the house we spent the most time in. The outside of the house was beautified too with modern roof and lucarnes, new contrasting bricks and preservation of characteristic lines on the façades.     

As a result, our house became a unique mix of old and new, with the modern amenities delivering great comfort, and blending in harmoniously with its character and charm. During the renovation process Nathalie’s eye to detail and persistence to ensure and accept only the highest quality of executed work meant that we felt reassured that our project is going well and everything is verified with true independence and skill of an experienced architect. This helped us to go through the whole process with decreasing stress and increasing satisfaction and achieve a great final result, which would not have been possible without her dedicated involvement in all aspects of the project."
